The Model3000 AC/Ion Sensor detects AC voltages from 50 to 1,000V through insulated wires, wall outlets, fuses, power boxes, etc., just like the Model3115, and alerts you with a red light or buzzer sound at the tip. It can be used to confirm power and identify disconnection points. Additionally, it has an ion detection feature as an extra function.
